Rain 37 is a very functional and best-selling raincoat by Ilse Jacobsen. The raincoat combines a neat fit style with a raglan sleeve which provides a more generous fit across the chest and shoulders. The fabric surface of the jacket is treated with an Ecorepel dirt and water repellent coating, while all seams are taped to enhance protection. The YKK AquaGuard 2-way zipper allows for great adjust-ability which is very handy for situations like riding a bike or sitting in the car. The coat is made from a stretchable soft-shell material which is also breathable.

The coat is waterproof to 5000mm (anything higher than this would generally be used for extreme weather conditions)

The coat's breathability is 3000g/m2 (anything higher than this would generally be for specific use / extreme weather conditions)

Sizing recommendation

Rain 37 is a neat fitting style but provides a more generous sizing across the chest and shoulders due to the raglan sleeve. In our experience around half of customers go up a size from their usual size in this style and we would recommend you take the larger size if you find yourself sometimes in between sizes.

Sizing difference between Rain 07, Rain 37 & Rain 37L by Ilse Jacobsen

Rain 07, Rain 37 & Rain 37L by Ilse Jacobsen are extremely similar styles with the key fitting difference being that Rain 37 & 37L have raglan sleeves and Rain 07 has a standard shoulder type sleeve. Rain 07 is more fitted because of this and Rain 37 & Rain 37L provide a slightly more generous fit across the chest & shoulders. Rain 37L is the knee length longer version of Rain 37.
